The Disneyland Resort is a combination of the original Disneyland theme park, created by Walt Disney in 1955, and Disney's California Adventure theme park, which opened in 2001. California Adventure faces Disneyland and shares ticketing booths at the main entrance. The Resort also includes Downtown Disney, a pedestrian street lined with shopping, restaurants and entertainment venues, and three Disney-owned hotels in or adjacent to California Adventure.
This vacation turned out great. I was very excited to be in Disneyland for the first time in my life. Actually, it was the first time I had ever traveled outside of Texas. In my excitement, I arrived late to Main Square with Andie, my niece. Rosa and Rebecca were upset at me, so I left. I spent the day with strangers. It was fun, but later……………
THE CHANCLA INCIDENT:
Rosa, being very emotional, beat me with a chancla on Stanton Drive. Rudy still says that I said something that was very sensitive to Rosa (I won’t mention it here), and that she attacked by pulling my hair and beating me with her chancla (sandal). Rudy says that Rosa was so angry that her words came out in hisses and spittle. He says that she swatted me between breaths: bee-hee-hee-hee-hee…SWAT….bee-hee-hee-hee-hee….SWAT. How Mexican is that!!!
